Shahpura House
Rao Dhir Singh, created the Shahpura House, once residence of erstwhile rulers and scion of the Shekhawat clan of Rajputs. The house has been converted into a hotel by Rao Dhir Singh and the doors have been flung open to the visitors from all over the world. Rare among hotels it has remained a family home, where
the members of the erstwhile ruling family welcome you personally as their honored guest. The Traditional Rajput architect, a mixture of Mughal and Indian, a facade with domes and frescoes. The House is a very fine example of Shekhawati frescos and architecture. The family portraits, which add to the charm of this
family hotel where tradition still runs strong. Like many historic houses, Shahpura House is a curious mixture of the old and the new.
Shahpura (Manoharpur) is the head seat of the Shekhawat Clan of Rajput's and the famous Shekhawati derives its name from it. It is named after the founder ruler of Shekhawat Maha Rao Shekhaji and the Manoharpur Shahpura Family takes pride in being direct descendent --- from Maha Rao Shekhaji. As one drives past the
town on the left of the road towards west of the highway leads to the Garden Palace. Set amidst green surroundings this place is typical of Shekhawati, and 200 years old created by Rao Hanuwant Singh. After that Rao Dhir Singh gave the buildings at Shahpura a face lift. He also restructured and refurnished their old
palatial house in the Pink City in 1956, which was converted into a Hotel in 1991-92 by Surendra Singh ji and named as SHAHPURA HOUSE.
The rooms at Shahpura House are very much like the ones that were used by the royalties of Shahpura family. Spacious rooms with elegant colonial furniture, along with all modern amenities having their own individual character. All of them are Air - conditioned and have attached bathrooms.

The Durbar Hall provides ample space for the guests to relax over exotic refreshments. The Sheesh Mahal decorated with silver plated furniture adds to the atmosphere of royalty at Shahpura House .
