The concept of Bhim Vilas has been inherited from our beloved father, ‘Bauji’, the Late Shri Bhim Dev Sanghi. A unique man in life, we strongly believe in ‘home is where the heart is’ and with the love of
Bauji looking down on us, we open our doors so that you may savour the warmth and affection that we felt from him all our lives. The Guest House reflects everything that he stood for and we have carefully selected themes and décor that would be to his taste. At the same time, we espouse his legacy of joie-de-vivre and
a love of people themselves from all walks of life, who would simply knock at his door and be welcomed with open arms and an open heart. A connoisseur of many languages and with diverse and broad-minded interests, he completed an Indian and world tour with his wife and he re-visited our extended family abroad before
his death. He understood the charm of travel and cared for the needs and requirements of clients using accommodation around the world and we hope that at Bhim Vilas you will feel taken care of and in the bosom of our family home. He has also left a feeling of identity and a love of India and her peoples, which we
continue to reflect in Bhim Vilas. One such example is the use of the khaadi, a home spun cloth that was iconic for the times in which he lived and which he wore until his death. You will also notice interior design from the local cottage industry which he supported and that give a comfortable, clean but genuinely
